Become Something SCARY with Zagone Studios!

As most monster kids my age did, I spent little to no time playing sports growing up. Instead, I spent my weekends watching any and all monster movies that I could find on TV. Each Tuesday, when the new TV Guide came in for the following week, I would go through page by page making myself a list of what movies were playing, on what station and at what time. Then I would try to watch as many of them as I could, of course assuming that our TV’s UHF antenna would actually be able to draw the station in at the time the movie was airing.

Jason’s Killer Reviews Presents: UNLISTED OWNER!

Let’s go break into the house that a family was just murdered…BAD IDEA!

Director Jed Brian
Released November 2017 DVD/VOD /Amazon
1:14 running time

DAWNING OF THE DEAD: You can’t stop it! A pandemic like the world has never seen!

Dawning of the DeadI was asked to review Dawning of the Dead from the TERROR DAVES’ site, and I typed in BOLD letters “you had me at ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE!” This film has a well thought-out story line with great special effects and some great acting. I will say though that over the last few years there have been more misses than hits in this genre and I am glad to say this film falls into the latter. The director did a great job showing the global scale of a zombie apocalypse and there are many nods to the George Romero zombie classics. Improvised weapons harken to memories of Peter Jackson’s Dead Alive (1992) as well.

Kirk Hammett’s IT’S ALIVE Exhibition Is To Die For!

Salem at Halloween time has been an almost annual event for me for the past 7 years. With Halloween being my favorite holiday, there is no place better to celebrate. Everything about Salem is perfect from the museums, stores and haunted houses to the people watching.

I had heard about It’s Alive! Classic Horror and Sci-Fi Art from the Kirk Hammett Collection but until we arrived in Salem, and went by the Peabody Essex Museum, I had forgotten that it was actually in Salem! How excited was I to see that not only was it in Salem but was in fact still available to be viewed.
