In anticipation of the upcoming film, I just finished reading “Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter,” written by Seth Grahame-Smith and published 2010. There are countless books written about our famed 16th President, and that’s not too shocking since most historians will quickly site him as our #1 greatest leader. I do enjoy historical/political biographies, particularly those that deal with American Presidents. I’ve read several on Lincoln, though nowhere near the 16,000 that are said to exist on him. Regardless, I believe it is safe to assume that NONE of them are like this one!

Instead, I am going to go all “Oprah” on you and list my Five Favorite things that he did. And, no, I will not be giving away free cars and merchandise, so you can remain seated and relatively calm. Also, this is not to suggest that in the course of Bradbury’s prolific career and multitude of accomplishments, that I ONLY like five of them. To go through them all would be like creating another Horror Host Report and this blog has only room for one of those epic posts per week. Here it goes…

Last year, we posted a blog featuring the classic horror hosts of Southern California (which you can revisit HERE). California, however, is a large state and has an equally rich history in its northern region. The new book, “Shock it to Me,” written by Michael Monahan a.k.a. Doktor Goulfinger, is a MUST HAVE for any Horror Host fan’s library – highlighting these very hosts!
