i’d like to meet Barbara Steele, is she going to be in any conventions?
December 12, 2011 at 8:43 pm
Hi Daniel! Barbara Steele was wonderful in person and a true horror legend. We met her at the 2011 Horrorhound Weekend in Indianapolis. I haven’t heard anything regarding her 2012 schedule but, with a fresh year of Horror cons ahead, I think there’s a good chance you’ll have an opportunity to make your wish come true!

I will be responding this year with a ten minute penned horror radio play. At 46 yrs old I’ve been very fortunate. Started my macabre career at universal studios in Calif actually working with the studios monsters while doin old school radio chills n thrills behind the glass for all to see n hear while I performed. My resume is very extensive and full of passion for what has been my life even as my stand up comedy has infused horror into my act letting my sick mind do its thing while getting laughter for funny to laughter turned unsure with a look over your shoulder nervousness! I’ve written, directed, performed on stages n radio stations all over. Currently a member if comedy soap box n was this past Aprils spot light comedian as a member of the national association of comedians! People can’t believe how I can combine funny with the scarry n doing such a good job at it I’ve been told many times my demented mind has them so freaked while in the audience no one wants to be the first out of the theatre cause the chills if reality r still mixed with the laughter that’s fresh in their minds. I can be straight funny but Hell where’s the fun in that? I’m working on a series right now that would fit perfect. Though I became perm. Disabled 6 yrs ago I still keep my mind freakin with the pen and performing when I can according to my disability. My question to you and the very respect that i send along with what you do and the mission you look to attain, is what if any is limitations on language or descriptions or set up of the senerio? Please advise by bone phone 860-417-9524 or email me all lower case TJ.email@example.com. its been my buiss over 30 yrs n I still never run outta the bizzare n no holds. I’ve had other goul writers tell me I need help. Yet I was a single parent (both kids turned out well) n the buiss paid my bills while being allowed to work on diff levels with diffrent people on all aspects of entertainment. I have a good list of professional friends n no matter I could go on a bit or put out a short story at the drop of blood where ever the party is! Live radio is a specialty n I actually get hired out to run those old freak n scream radio shows.. (mostley on A.M. stations Fri nites or sun morn.) I can go on, but I won’t …….. For now. Looking to hear from u n assure u thus isn’t about my fee or anything but I wanna Do this for you have a blast n put the crap into the pants of those who think demented is a word most people actually use in the wrong meaning! Thanks again for your time n responce… Stay gruesome n be glade u don’t need a mask to scare the shit n eye tearing emit bubbles outta someone! Sincerely Jester Jymes (pronounced James)

Would you consider checking out my new Internet show? It’s called Public Domain Drive-In. It’s shown sometimes on the Vortexx on alternate fridays. I’ve only got a couple of “fully hosted” episodes, but there are more to come!
